Bennett Griffin team embrace charity challenges in aid of Chestnut Tree House

Reading Time: < 1 minute

We are delighted that Bennett Griffin team members have fully embraced our commitment to raising funds for Chestnut Tree House, a charity that is dear to our hearts. Chestnut Tree House is a local children’s hospice and cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions.

Mary Wheatland, Chartered Legal Executive at Bennett Griffin, has agreed to take on one of the world’s most iconic trekking challenges – the Inca Trail in Peru. The Inca Trail encompasses three high mountain passes (with the highest at 4,200m), sub-tropical vegetation as well as summitting snow-capped peaks. In order to raise awareness of her doing the trek, Mary will be organising events such as a Halloween event, meals out and a quiz.

If you wish to support Mary on this arduous challenge, you can donate via this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mary-wheatland1.

In addition, we currently have a team of 14 Bennett Griffin team members who will run the Littlehampton 10k in September, in order to fundraise for Chestnut Tree House. We are hoping for more participants for maximum impact and would like to encourage all spectators to give our team some encouragement and support along the way.

Thank you to all of our team members who have agreed to support our charity and therefore continuing our long standing tradition of sporting fundraising challenges.
