Bennett Griffin’s “C” Party for Comic Relief

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become something of a British institution. It’s the day, every two years, when people across the land can get together and do something funny for money at home, school and work. Comic Relied Red Nose Day

Comic Relief spends the money raised by Red Nose Day to help people living tough lives across the UK and Africa.

Over the last few years, we’ve developed a tradition for having a themed fancy dress day for Red Nose Day (for the comic element of Comic Relief). Some of you will remember we’ve done 80s sportswear, cowboys, Greek Olympians and more recently cave men and women!

This time last week, the Bennett Griffin team were dressed in costumes beginning with the letter C to show our continued support for Comic Relief. Costumes included chefs, Cleopatra, cyclists, Chinese takeaway box, cats, clowns, Christmas puddings, and even the Cookie Monster! Below are a few pictures to prove our dedication to support such a worthwhile charity.

At lunch time, Bennett Griffin held a children’s tea party to raise money for Comic Relief. Staff brought in a range of children’s party food which went down a treat! There were also some traditional children’s party games being played to some classic children’s music, including pass the parcel and musical statues! Staff also participated in an Easter Egg hunt round the office. The party was a great hit with prizes awarded for the best costumes and the winners of the party games.

In total Bennett Griffin raised a fantastic £185.31 for a great cause. Watch this space for next year’s Sports Relief!
