Bennett Griffin Succeed in Lexcel Audit

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Due to the Covid-19 restructions, our office in the heart of Worthing has remained closed and all our staff are working from home. This, however has not stopped us from successfully completing our annual Lexcel audit, an achievement we are really pleased to announce.
There are always challenges even during a Lexcel audit and given the fact that our team are working from home means additional hurdles to overcome. We are so fortunate to have a willing, capable and dedicated team who have taken the time to prepare the relevant policies and documents for audit as well as those of the team who were interviewed by our auditor.

Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for practice management and client care. The aim of Lexcel is for law firms to achieve excellence in compliance in practice management and client care. It provides a flexible, supportive management framework to help practices develop consistent operational efficiencies and client service, manage risk effectively, reduce costs and promote profitability

Due to the current restrictions, many law firms have found themselves delaying their audits or pulled out so we are really pleased our infrastructure and team have met the challenge head on and succeeded.

On receiving the news, Managing Partner Kate Hallin commented: “I am delighted that once again we have achieved the Lexcel standard for excellence in practice management and client care. This has been a fantastic effort by all at Bennett Griffin to ensure that our high standards continue to be met despite the current situation.”
