BG Definitely Ramped up the Red for the British Heart Foundation!

Reading Time: < 1 minute

On Friday 7th February 2014, staff at Bennett Griffin took part in the British Heart Foundation event Ramp up the Red to raise some much needed funds for the charity’s research.  There were some great RED outfits in the office, and the cakes and biscuits went down a storm!

In total we managed to raise £88.50 between the offices, which beat our target of £50 by quite a lot!

Not only is this a brilliant charity, but we also have a connection to one of the researchers co-funded by the British Heart Foundation.  The daughter of one of our solicitors runs a BHF Centre of Research Excellence looking into the Fibroblast growth factor (Fgf), which takes us a step closer to being able to make new heart muscle to repair the damage caused by heart attacks – mending broken hearts.  This research is invaluable.

Most of us know someone who has suffered a heart attack or from heart disease, and this research will go a long way in saving lives in the future and helping to mend the hearts that have been broken.

BG would like to thank all staff for their generous donations, and extend a massive thank you to the BHF and all their researchers for their life changing work!
