Difficult cases – more success for Bennett Griffin LLP

Bennett Griffin LLP’s personal injury department has achieved some excellent results for local clients in recent months in some very difficult and unusual cases.

These include a claim for a Goring by Sea windsurfer who was hit by another windsurfer while “hove to” in the water and suffered serious rib and shoulder injuries.

And a claim for an elderly Durrington woman who suffered a painful MRSA infection in her big toe following negligent chiropody treatment.

And a claim for a woman from East Preston whose friend’s Rottweiler dog ripped off her ear.

And a claim for a Worthing woman who suffered serious hand injuries when she crashed her motorcycle while under instruction due to the negligence of her instructor.

And a claim for a Worthing electrician who was electrocuted while at work in the City of London. The claim was brought against the occupiers of the building where he was working for the negligent electrical work done by previous contractors and which was the cause of the accident.

And a claim for an elderly Lancing woman who was hit by a wheel that came loose from a car being towed. Bennett Griffin LLP took over this claim from another local firm who had failed to make any progress and had given up leaving our client in the lurch. Through a lot of hard work and perseverance we achieved a fantastic settlement for our client.

Toby Barrett, the head of Bennett Griffin LLP’s personal injury department, commented “the above cases especially demonstrate our commitment to doing the right thing for local people who have been unfortunate enough to have been injured in accidents through no fault of their own. I doubt many firms would have taken these cases on, let alone have achieved such good results, and that is testament to the skill, knowledge and dedication of Bennett Griffin LLP’s personal injury team. Sometimes it is not immediately obvious that there is a viable claim and it requires specialist knowledge and experience to see that there is. Our ethos is that everyone who has suffered injury in an accident deserves a fair crack of the whip and deserves the best advice and representation possible. Bennett Griffin LLP does not shy away from “difficult” cases. If you have been injured in an accident and have perhaps been told by a solicitor that they cannot take on your claim, please contact Bennett Griffin LLP and we will be happy to give you a second opinion and, if possible, progress your claim”.
