The family law team at Bennett Griffin are delighted to announce that Jackie MensahJackie Gifford and Richard Adams have been awarded the Help And Support For Separated Families Government Kitemark. This is part of a new Government initiative intended to promote services that work towards reducing the conflict between parents following separation and to help them improve parental collaboration to focus on the needs of the children.

The initiative hopes to help separating families by making it easy for them to find the right support and to find the support they can trust to deliver what they need. As part of that initiative, particular individuals and organisations have been awarded a kitemark, to help guide people to services they can trust to approach on the range of issues they may face during separation.

Anyone who uses a service that has the Help and Support For Separated Families logo can be sure that the organisation:

  • Has a vision that includes promoting collaboration wherever possible to reduce conflict and so benefit the children;
  • Consistently demonstrates its commitment to promoting collaboration and reducing conflict;
  • Effectively promotes parental collaboration.

The members of the family team at Bennett Griffin have, through their respective specialist statuses with the professional family lawyers association Resolution, been awarded the kitemark having demonstrated that our work with divorced or separated parents promotes collaborative parenting in the best interests of children and reduces conflict between parents.

Jackie Mensah is a trained collaborative lawyer, as well as an accredited Resolution specialist in private children law and domestic violence, Jackie Gifford is a qualified independent mediator, and our Head of Department Richard Adams is an accredited Resolution specialist in Complex financial and property matters for medium to low income households and high income households and substantial assets.
