MacMillan Coffee Morning – 28th September 2018

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We are delighted to announce that we will be taking part in MacMillan’s annual coffee morning on Friday, 28th September.

MacMillan’s first coffee morning was in 1990, starting as a very small gathering over coffee, with all money raised donated to the Charity.  This turned out to be an outstandingly successful event, and it was decided to continue the next year and eventually became an annual event.  It is now MacMillan’s biggest fundraising event.

During the coffee morning, between 09:00 AM and 12:00 PM, anyone is welcome to come along to our offices and purchase cakes and treats which have been made by members of our Team.  If you have a particular favourite cake then please note it via the booking link below and we’ll do our best to provide it for you – now there’s a challenge!

The event is a great way to raise money for a fantastic cause, supporting people who are living with and affected by cancer.  One in two of us will be affected at some point, and the coffee morning will help MacMillan make sure that no one must face it alone.

Not only will there be cakes and treats to purchase, but we would like to offer a complementary legal drop-in for up to 20 minutes, at no charge, if you have a specific legal issue that concerns you that you would like to discuss.  If you’d like to make a donation to MacMillan for this offer, then we will be delighted to facilitate that, but there would be no obligation to do so, save in respect of our fantastic cakes and treats that you can enjoy during your drop-in session.

We have a fundraising target of £150 for this event, and Bennett Griffin LLP will be pleased to match the contributions, £ for £, up to this target and so we’d really value everyone’s help to achieve it and make a difference.

It will be essential to book places for our legal drop-in  in advance of the coffee morning so  please visit our booking pages for the Worthing coffee morning and Ferring coffee morning, and we then very much look forward to meeting with you.
