Overview
I joined the firm back in December 2011 on a voluntary/temporary basis after which I became a legal assistant in June 2013 and then a Paralegal in October 2017. I am now a newly qualified Chartered Legal Executive having qualified as a Fellow within The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in September 2023.
I specalise in the Care, Capacity and Court of Protection team based in our Worthing Office. Within the team, I work with clients who has appointed Bennett Griffin as their Attorneys or have had Bennett Griffin appointed as their Deputies where they have lost capacity. I assist the clients with their property and financial affairs from ensuring they have sufficient funds to pay for their care fees or, ensuring their property expenses are paid for. I also assist people with applying to the Court of Protection for Deputyship on behalf of their friend or loved ones who have lost capacity.
I am now gaining more and more experience within the Wills and LPAs team, together with the Probate team with regards to assisting clients prepare Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and also administer simple Estates.
In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading a variety of books and socialising with family and friends.
