Lucy is an Associate who heads up our specialist Care, Capacity & Court of Protection team. She is based in our Worthing office and is happy to meet locally with clients in their own home if required.
Lucy qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and spent several years working in an international law firm in London. She left London in order to raise her family in Worthing and returned to work as a private client solicitor with a regional law firm three years ago.
Lucy enjoys the challenges of intergenerational planning, particularly for those pre or post retirement, business owners, clients with challenging family situations or complex capacity issues for those potentially at risk.
As such, she helps clients make informed choices rather than leaving matters to chance. She can advise on more complex trust structures and regularly advised individuals and their families with all aspects of succession, tax and family asset protection planning.
Lucy is a student member of STEP and a Dementia Friend.
In her spare time she is kept busy by her three children, but when time permits she enjoys going to the theatre, reading and spending time with friends.
