Notary Public Services
A notary is a qualified lawyer who has undertaken complex additional qualifications in order to be appointed a Notary.
Notary services are one of the oldest branches of law and the job of a Notary is primarily to authenticate and certify documents for use abroad.Notaries can also undertake work such as;
- Preparing and witnessing powers of attorney for use overseas.
- Assisting with dealing with the purchase or sale of land and property abroad.
- Providing documents to deal with the administration of the estates of people who are abroad or owning property abroad.
- Authenticating personal documents and information for immigration or emigration purposes, or to apply to marry or to work abroad.
- Verify identification documents
We are pleased to be one of the few local law firms to have a qualified Notary within the firm who is able to offer a full range of notary services from our offices in Worthing.
Notary costs will differ depending on the type and number of documents required to be notarised. In most cases, our fees would be £100 plus vat but can be higher for more complex matters and business documents.
Any payments to third parties would be in additional to these charges, such as Courier fees, Legalisation fees, or translation fees.
