Building Connections And Changing Tyres At Worthing’s Better Business Show
As we are every year, we were excited to attend the 2020 Better Business Show, organised by the Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce. The show was held on the 13th February at the wonderful Worthing Town Hall.
The show showcased over 70 local businesses from all industries and of all sizes, with the show boasting an impressive group of Keynote Speakers, including 2018 Masterchef champion and owner of local restaurant Pitch, Kenny Tutt.
This year, our Bennett Griffin stand was well received and well attended. Throughout the day, numerous members of the team were on hand to meet and offer advice to visitors. Our team on the stand included Nick Tompkin from our Corporate Team, from our Dispute Resolution Team: Jerome Soucek, Caroline Knowles-Ley, Rosie Duplessis & Lindsey Ransley, from our Commercial Property Team: Annie Webb & Laura Dunleavy, from our Residential Team: Adriana Campbell, Stephen Hollamby from our Management Team & from our Wills & Powers of Attorney Team: Ian Macara, Tania Clapham, Lucy Nevill & Jessica Boyle
Annie commented: “It’s a great opportunity to find out more about a variety of businesses, build on existing contract relationships and discover new contacts as well as promoting awareness of our legal services.”
As a firm we are proud of our presence in the local community and this extends to the local business community too. We relish the opportunity to work with other local businesses as well as individuals.
Our stand included the opportunity to win prizes, drawn from our bowl of submitted Business Cards: congratulations to local Gardener Keith Young who won a bottle of Wiston Sparkling Wine and Luke Cartwright from Natwest who won a bottle of Malbec Red Wine!
Continuing the trend of prizes, Annie won chocolates care of Antrams Financial Services LLP, Lucy was the winner of a bottle of English Sparkling Wine courtesy of MHA Carpenter Box and Adriana won a large bottle of Prosecco with thanks to Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce.
