At Bennett Griffin we are committed to giving back – by actively supporting both a range of charities close to our hearts, and our local community.

For good causes…

We’re passionate about the charity work we do and, thanks to the endless enthusiasm of our staff, we are proud to have raised thousands of pounds for a variety of good causes over the years.

We’ve been involved in all sorts of activities to raise money and awareness for St Barnabas, a hospice based in Worthing that provides palliative care to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses.

Our events for St Barnabas over the years have ranged from coffee mornings to the Night to Remember Midnight Walk. You can read more about our friendship with St Barnabas here.

In 2024, we are the headline sponsor for the annual St Barnabas House Golf Day – event info can be found here.

We are also long-term supporters of Dementia Friends, an initiative from the Alzheimer’s Society. Many of us have had specialist training in being a Dementia Friend. We regularly provide free training sessions to members of the public and other businesses.

For our community…

We work hard to have a positive and lasting effect on our community here in West Sussex.

Several of our solicitors volunteer their time at Citizens Advice in Worthing – offering free legal advice to the local community; and our Wills team regularly supports Will-writing schemes run by charities such as St Barnabas and Cancer Research.

We are proud supporters of local LGBT+ causes such as Worthing Pride (we are the main sponsor for 2024!) and Chichester Pride.

Supporting the arts has long been a passion of ours; we have displayed work from local A Level Students in our offices and have been proud friends of Worthing Artists Open House in recent years.

With our latest office in Chichester, we have become a Principal Partner of Chichester Festival Theatre.

Within the Sport & Leisure world, we are delighted to be the shirt sponsor for Worthing FC‘s Inclusive team, as well as our advertising hoardings appearing around the pitch at Worthing FC’s ground in Woodside Road, Worthing.

We are also proud to sponsor Bosham Sailing Club, the oldest sailing club in Chichester Harbour who celebrated their Centenary in 2007.
