Community
With you in the Community
At Bennett Griffin we are committed about supporting charity and the community in and around Worthing, West Sussex and further afield.
As a firm we endeavour to work with groups, organisations and charities to ensure our presence in the community has a positive and lasting effect and we regularly organise, sponsor and participate in activities to raise money and support for national and local charities and other local events.
We are strong supporters of Dementia Friends, an initiative from the Alzheimer’s Society with many of our staff having undergone Dementia Friends training and Ian Macara, being Dementia Friends Champions and regularly providing free open training sessions to members of the public and other businesses. For more information on our Dementia Friends sessions or if you would like Dementia Friends training for your business please do not hesitate to contact Ian.
Several of our solicitors volunteer their time at the Citizens Advice in Worthing – offering free legal advice to the local community; and our Will’s team regularly supports Will-writing schemes run by charities such as St Barnabas and Cancer Research.
As a firm we are passionate about the charity work that we do and thanks to the endless enthusiasm of our staff we have raised thousands of pounds for a variety of charities over the years.
We also have a Charity of the Year which is voted for by our staff. This year our charity is St Barnabas, a hospice based in Worthing which provides palliative care to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses.
We are strong supporters of St Barnabas House in Worthing and have been involved in all sorts of activities from coffee mornings to the Night to Remember Midnight Walk for many years. Further information as to the work we have done with St Barnabas can be found here.
An archive of the articles relating to our charity and community work is available here as well as a gallery of some of the activities we have been involved in over the years.
If you would like any more information about our community work please do not hesitate to contact us.
