    Who is the Fixed Fee Divorce For?

    Our fixed-fee divorce service is suitable for both Applicants and Respondents.

    Whether you’re instigating the divorce or responding to a divorce application, our experienced Family Law team is here to support you every step of the way.

    Benefits of a Fixed Fee Divorce

    Choosing our fixed-fee divorce service offers several benefits that can significantly alleviate the burden of the divorce process:

    Transparent Cost

    With our fixed-fee service, you’ll have a clear understanding of the costs upfront, ensuring no surprises along the way.

    Expert Guidance

    You’ll be able to work with our highly skilled and experienced Family & Relationships team. They will provide the guidance and support needed to navigate the divorce process efficiently.

    Our Fixed Fee Divorce Costs

    Fixed Fee Package: £850 plus VAT and Court Fee (currently £612)

    Our Fixed Fee Package covers the essential aspects of the divorce process.

    Here’s what’s included:

    • An initial 30-minute consultation with a lawyer to provide advice on the divorce process.
    • Preparation of the divorce application.
    • Preparation of the Response to the application.
    • Preparation of applications for Conditional Order and Final Order.
    • Updating you as to the progress of the divorce.

    Please note that the package does not include the following:

    • Obtaining the marriage certificate or translation of the same.
    • Any additional work related to an uncooperative or uncommunicative Respondent or Applicant.
    • Additional related applications to the Court, for instance for Deemed Service.
    • Preparation of documents for fee remission or finalising the divorce after 12 months since the Final Order.
    • Addressing issues related to children, financial arrangements, or domestic violence.

    Our team is ready to provide the guidance and support you need to navigate the divorce process effectively.

    Please note that the full fee, along with the court fee, must be paid before commencing any work.

    This payment is non-refundable, except where you or your lawyer decide that the package is unsuitable during the initial meeting. In such cases, you will only be responsible for the cost of work completed up to that point.

    Additional work beyond the scope of the fixed fee package will be charged separately at an agreed hourly rate. All terms and conditions will be provided in Bennett Griffin’s Terms of Business, which you will receive at the beginning of your case. We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if the work required exceeds the agreed terms or if it is deemed unsuitable for your specific circumstances.
