Losing someone you love is always an extremely difficult time, but this can be made all the more stressful if you are left with the responsibility of administering the estate and dealing with probate. Our team is able to offer both legal advice and practical support during this time, providing as much or as little help as you need. We pride ourselves on our caring, friendly and professional approach, making sure that everything is dealt with thoroughly, efficiently and sensitively. We can advise on all aspects of probate and the administration of estates, including advising on the responsibilities of executors, tax implications and inheritance. In addition we can also provide advice and assistance if someone has died intestate, i.e. without a Will. Three members of our team, Tania Clapham, Ian Macara and Katie Foan are members of the Law Society Probate Section and our team also hold accreditations with Solicitors for the Elderly and STEP. Our team will work with you to guide you throughout the process and offer you the support you require.
Our highly experienced Estate Administration Team will be delighted to guide you through all that is required for the efficient distribution of the estate on behalf of the Executor(s) or Administrator(s). Our work includes considering the detail of the Will, identifying the beneficiaries, obtaining the Grant of Representation, establishing what is included in the estate of the deceased, such as property, shares, investments, cash, valuable collections etc., dealing with Inheritance Tax and then distributing the estate in accordance with the Will or rules of intestacy.
