Bennett Griffin’s Peter Bennett Shortlisted for Lifetime Achievement in Business AwardReading Time: 2 minutes
Bennett Griffin are delighted to announce that our senior Partner, Peter Bennett, has been shortlisted for the Lifetime Achievement in Business Award at the Worthing Business Awards 2010. Peter has made a major contribution to Bennett Griffin and the business reputation of the whole town over more years than he would probably care to remember, and we think he certainly deserves this award.
Peter was a founding Partner of Bennett Griffin and has ably steered the firm towards continued growth and success for over 20 years. He has overseen the training of many new generations of budding young lawyers and is an inspiration to them with his knowledge of the law.
Peter was a Councillor on the Worthing Borough Council for twenty-four years and was also Mayor of Worthing from 1993 to 1994. He served as President of the Worthing Law Society, and is now President of the Worthing Chamber of Commerce. He is also a director of both Worthing Town Centre Initiative Ltd and Worthing Homes Ltd, Chair of the Worthing Economic Development Partnership, and a Trustee of the Worthing High School Trust and a the charity International Animal Rescue.
Peter was stunned when he learned that he had been nominated. He said ‘it was one of the best surprises of my life. I am absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted and my sincere thanks to all those who nominated me. I would be overwhelmed if I actually was selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award, but the ride so far has been great and fingers crossed!”
Bennett Griffin are also pleased to have been nominated for the Customer Care Award at the Worthing Business Awards 2010. For more information about this, please click here.
