Spinout – Summer of Circus In Worthing
We recently wrote a post highlighting our passion for our local creative arts community and enjoy supporting several local initiatives. Our Senior Partner, Ian Macara was lucky enough to see the video produced of the innovative SPIN OUT – a season of outdoor summer events in Worthing and organised by Worthing Theatres in conjunction with Discover Worthing, Worthing Borough Council & Creative Waves Community Arts
One part of this was the Summer of Circus, incorporating acts and performances at locations such as the WOW – Worthing Observation Wheel or in 2019 performing with the award winning Ockham’s Razor, among other renowned acts from both near and far.
This thrilling, interactive event provided a range of contemporary performances and workshops aimed at a range of age groups and skill levels, and utilising open spaces on the promenade as well as the the Pavilion Theatre.
In the last four years, Worthing has welcomed 21 renowned and award winning contemporary circus companies from all over the globe. Circus has a home on the South Coast in Worthing and we hope to see more in the coming years.
So here is the video giving more information and the promotion of Worthing – it is long (17mins) but we feel it is a worthy cause and we offer our full support and look forward to sunnier days in the coming months.
