The Bennett Griffin Swampies raise over £1,000 for Cancer Research!Reading Time: 2 minutes
On Saturday 4th July a team of ladies from Bennett Griffin (collectively known as the Bennett Griffin Swampies) and some of their friends and family took on the Pretty Muddy Race for Life in Brighton to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The Pretty Muddy Race is an event consisting of a 5km muddy obstacle course which can be run, jogged or walked by ladies of any age or ability.
As well as having a fantastic time and getting very muddy the total raised by the runners from Bennett Griffin (including an impromptu cake sale at our Ferring office) was an amazing £1,095!
The total raised by everyone who took part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life this year was a huge £1.3 million, with donations still coming in, which will make a massive difference to the brilliant work done by Cancer Research UK.
Well done to everyone who took part in the event, especially the Bennett Griffin Swampies who, rumour has it, are already in training for next year…..
